Top Defense a beautifully constructed Strategy defense game. In Top Defense you have control over your base which is about to come under attack from hording enemy’s. You mission is to use your weapons available and aim them into strategic positions to destroy the oncoming waves of enemy’s.
As you progress through the missions you have the ability to upgrade your defenses and weapons. You’ll need this to keep pounding the bad guys. The graphics are a nice vector animation look and feel something you’d kinda expect from a 80′s anime series. Not only does it look good, but being animated well it doesn’t load down your flash player when you have a million things going on in the game (which you will in the later missions)
Unlike other TD games, in Top Defense you control and aim the weapons. So rather than just building towers and sitting back waiting to see how they manage the creeps, you have to keep clicking away and use the weapons specific damage areas. Most weapons have reload times and naturally the larger and more damage the weapon does the longer you need to wait to reload.
All in all this is a true strategic defense game that will stand its place almost the other great games that we have seen developed over the last few years. I’d put this even on par with the recent solarmax game which we were very impressed with.
